The Annual Meeting of the LMYA is scheduled for Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at one of our member clubs, the Indiana Harbor Yacht Club. Any delegates or members of participating LMYA yacht clubs may attend.

Wisconsin Annual LMYA Rendezvous

HOOK Race 2023 Death’s Door Challenge

Racine, WI to Menomonee, MI

Racine Yacht Club’s HOOK Race is a 189 nautical mile race on Lake Michigan held each year in July. The challenging event starts outside the harbor in Racine, Wisconsin, “hooking” through Death’s Door (Porte Des Morts passage), a narrow and often treacherous passageway between Washington Island and Wisconsin’s Door County Peninsula, continuing across Green Bay, and ending in Menominee, Michigan.

Queen’s Cup Race

June 30, 2023

Milwaukee, WI to Muskegon, MI

The 84th annual Queen’s Cup race will be held on June 30th, 2023, starting at South Shore Yacht Club in Milwaukee and finishing in Muskegon, Michigan.

There are two race categories for ORR (Offshore Racing Rule) and MWPHRF (Midwest Performance Handicap Racing Fleet) certified boats. Over 200 boats compete each year.
